Impact Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs

July 20 – 31, 2015

New Delhi, India

USAID’s MEASURE Evaluation Project is pleased to announce theinternational workshop on “Impact Evaluation of Population, Healthand Nutrition Programs,” for English speaking professionals. The workshop is sponsored by the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) in New Delhi, India and MEASURE Evaluation, in collaboration with GEMNet-Health. The two-week course will be held July 20 – 31, 2015 in New Delhi, India.

Taught in English, the course is designed for mid-level health and population researchers, administrators, program managers, and other professionals involved in the implementation and evaluation of population, health and nutrition programs.  The course provides intensive, hands-on training in impact evaluation with an emphasis on statistical methods for professionals currently involved in related activities.

The total course fee is USD 4,800 inclusive of the workshop tuition, accommodation, partial board (breakfast daily and lunch on days when the workshop is in session), and round-trip airport transfers.  The venue of the workshop will be a conference quality hotel in New Delhi, India.


Applications must be submitted to PHFI by JUNE 15, 2015.   

A limited number of bursaries will be funded by 3ie for qualified candidates from low and middle income countries

Ethiopian Monitoring & Evaluation Experts Network (EMEENet)

The purpose of the EMEENet is to create linkage among monitoring and evaluation experts in Ethiopia and facilitate information exchange among members.

EMEENet was established in May 2015 by a team of M&E professionals who participated on Regional Workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs in March 2015 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Workshop was organized by Addis Continental Institute of Public Health (ACIPH) which is a member of Global Evaluation and Monitoring Network for Health (GEMNet-Health) in collaboration with USAID’s MEASURE-Evaluation Project through support from USAID

The founder of EMEENet is Mr. Yilak Getnet who is working for Save the Children International USAID/ENGINE program as Research Data Quality Manager.
